| 1.
Prepare. In this step, you cleanse and tone to make your
skin more receptive to the correction step. |
Gentle
Cleanser or

Wash
your face with the recommended cleanser, rinse with lukewarm water
and gently pat dry. Avoid rubbing the skin with a towel |
| Toner |
Put the Obagi
Toner on a cotton ball or pad and apply to your entire face. Do
not rinse. |
| Topical
antibiotic, if prescribed (not included in the Obagi product line). |

If
prescribed, put the antibiotic agent on a cotton ball and apply.
Some antibacterial agents may come in presoaked pads. |
| 2.
Correct.
This step repairs the damage to the surface of the skin, correcting
hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone and smoothing skin roughness. |
Clear
Rx |
Apply Obagi
Clear evenly on the entire face extending to the hairline, over
the ears and ending with a feathering motion. Wait 2 minutes and
apply a second coat over dark spots.
Note: Patients with dark skin
should use Obagi Clear on the entire face once a day, preferably
in the morning, and apply at night only on the darkest areas.
Once a desirable color tone is achieved, use Obagi Clear only
as needed.

Exfoderm Forte |
Apply
Evenly over entire face, avoiding the eyelid area. Wait until the
cream is absorbed. |
| 3.
Stimulate.
This step repairs damage to the deeper layers of the skin. It restores
skin elasticity by enhancing the production of collagen and elastin. |
Blender
Rx
Tretinoin |
Apply
1/2 gram of Blender followed by the prescribed amount of tretinoin.
Apply evenly on the entire face, extending to the hairline, over
the ears and ending with a feathering motion. |
| 4.
Protect.
This step prevents further damage from harmful UVA and UVB rays,
as well as protect the sensitive eye area. |
Sunfader
Rx
Sunblock Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35 |
Apply
in the morning under your makeup. Reapply often while in the sun.
Note: Prolonged sun exposure should
be avoided for the first month. |
| Eye
Cream |
Recommended
for daily use to take care of the thin skin of the eyelids. |
| Control.
Sometimes, especially at the beginning of the treatment, your skin
may be sensitive, dry or have a reaction. As times goes by, your
skin will become healthier and in less need of control agents. |
Action |
Use
sparingly only when your skin is uncomfortably dry. Can be used
to cut strength of Obagi Exfoderm. |
| Tolereen |
Apply
this hydrocortisone lotion whenever needed in the areas where you
experience itching, burning or redness.
Note: Control agents should
only be used temporarily, as they slow down the skin restoration
process. |
