I ordered the Exfoderm but received the Exfoderm Forte. I've never used the Forte before so I'm wondering if I should go ahead and use it. I can't return it because I took the plastic seal off before I noticed it was the wrong one. Would it make a difference to go ahead and use the Forte?
I know the exfoderm is supposed to be more for normal to dry and sensitive skin. The forte, which I use is for normal to oily skin. Forte contains alpha hydroxy acid and exfoliates, as the exfoderm contains phytic acid , which also is an exfoliator. I would think a bit milder than aha. If you have dry skin I would think this is better for you. The aha may be too harsh for dry skin. I would email whereever purchased and explain. They must have a record of what you purchased in the past. HTHs.
