I have heard that Obagi works best for very fair skinned people. I'm concerned about the things that could go wrong using Obagi with my skin type (scarring or hyerpigmentation are my main concerns) but would also like to hear any success stories of Black women or dark skinned women who've used the product. Any feedback from darker skinned people who've used Obagi is welcome.
My complexion is light brown and it scars easily and for a long time. I'm considering starting an Obagi regimen to fade previous acne-brown-spots, and to even out my skin tone, and hopefully see some overall improvement in my complexion.
Thank you for any suggestions.

I am very curious about the same thing. I have medium brown skin and I am thinking about using the Oabgi Nu Derm system for several parts of my body including my face ( I have eczema scars else where I am hoping to lighten up). I originally wanted to do the Obagi Blue Peel but after speaking with the aesthitician at my Dermatologist office she suggested that due to my skin tone it would be best to do the Obagi Nu Derm first and see how well my skin reacts to that. As explained to me the problem with darker skinned people and the use of the Obagi Blue Peel is that we are more susceptible to Hyper or Hypopigment scarring from the blue peel. So in about a week I am going to speak with my dermatologist and basically confirm that this product should do what I need it to do and start the Obagi Nu Derm system and I will let you know how it goes, you know from a brown skinned perspective.
