Hi guys..
I just bought an Obagi sonblock and I was wondering when do I exactly have to put on my face?IS it before or after I put my moisturizer? I'm just confused..
Is it allright if my moisturizer is not an Obagi product?
Thank's a lot for your help guys..

| always apply sunblock last. one half hour before going outside. Are you on the obagi system? You really do not need a moisturizer, I guess unless you are extremely dry. The system claims you do not need one. I do not think it will hurt using another product. I actually did when I was on the system the first time. Using a moisturizer made my skin so oily.

Thank you for your reply pippa.. ..so after i cleanse my skin and put toner on my face, then i just apply a sunblock on my face. Is that right?
By the way I actually only use some obagi product, such as: cleanser, toner, and just recently a sunblock. And right now I am still using moisturizer of another brand. I guess that kind of make my face a little bit oilier. Do you have any suggestion?
thank you so very much for your help

Yes, you apply sunblock after toner and moisturizer.
You do not use the blender and retin a with the system? Depends what you are looking to correct. If you have clear skin then you do not need it.

| Just a warning, The sunblock is really really thick. I ordered the sunscreen with 35 protection for my face.It is more creamier. I now use sunblock just on body with whats leftover.

I also bought a sunscreen with spf 35 in it. So is that creamier that usual? Because I haven't tried the product, I just got the product yesterday
Anyway, should I use a lot on my face or just a thin application?
Pippa, last night I tried not to use moisturizer on my face. And I guess my skin not to oily when I woke up
I do not use another obagi product other than cleanser, toner, and sunscreen..
Are you using another obagi product?
Thank you
I appreciate for your help

| You bought the creamy one that is easy to apply. There is one called sunblock that is thick. Yours came in a tube right? I do not use moisturizer because I am on the whole system with retin a , blender and clear also. I am too oily too. For the flaky areas I add action, which is a moisturizer made by obagi. You probably do need a moisturizer if you are only using cleanser and toner. Maybe not during day if using sunscreen. I try to stick to all obagi products and the rxs prescribed by my doctor. I bought a different sunscreen from spain that has a higher sunblock. It is 60. I will be using that soon, but love obagis sunscreen also.

| Sunblock from obagi is fine. Some people on ytf board complain about breakouts. I never did. You can apply powder afterwards, thats fine.

Hi pippa..
how r u?..I have a question again regarding the Obagi cleanser. Well.. is it okay if i switch to foaming gel cleanser from the gentle cleanser? Because I read from the forum that the foaming gel cleanser is more suitable for acne prone skin. Isn't that right?
Thank you again for your help

| Skincare-md.com explains it. The foaming gel is for normal to oily skin, less sensitive. I use it because I am oily. The gentle cleanser if for normal to dry, more sensitive skin. My doctor put me on the regimen and she felt the foaming gel was better. HTHs!
